a week at home

here we are at the end of a our first week in the house with tosh. tanil's father was down for the entire week, lending many a hand at the sink over dirty dishes and chopping salad mix. so many people have brought us food that our freezer is full, and we are still eating off the goods in the fridge. thank you all so much. we are very thankful for you all.

we all have done very well at adapting to one another and this life we have now. tosh, of course eats, sleeps, lounges, shits, and pees, and just is so damn cute. tanil is an amazing woman, and has taken to breast feeding like the champ she is. i love to watch her looking into tosh's eyes. they look like they are in a trance. total bonding. tosh building his trust in her. amazing to behold. too bad for me, i had to get back into the office on wednesday, as expected. bills must be paid and maybe the mortgage.

skeeter, her dad, and tosh came out to the kickball game last night to watch the state champs lose there first round playoff game 2-1. i dont think tosh saw a peep of his daddy pitching. that's ok, there's time. and then again today, they all came up to my office for lunch. we introduced the little man around and he didnt even blush at all the attention.

higlights of the week:
takin naps with tosh
watching skeeter
mesmerizing over tosh
lookin into his eyes
eating all the yummy food
realxing
sleeping hard

lowlights:
going back to the hospital for a jaundice and high bilirubin scare
having an ER nurse who knew nothing about pediatrics do a blood letting on my son.
having to lay him in a light tray at the house, though that wasnt all that bad, as long as he was soundly sleeping he transitioned well.

i've updated and added some more photos to the album.
pretty much covers sir tosh and his first week on the third rock from the sun
